Date: March 25, 2011   Mustus Energy, Limited (Mustus), a developer of green and sustainable energy projects in North America, announces the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with CFC Capital Inc. (CFC), a specialty investment and private equity firm in Calgary, Alberta, under which CFC will be the exclusive equity provider to Mustus on its first six green energy projects in Alberta Canada.  Each project will produce approximately 40 megawatts of clean power, converting biomass to electricity, and costing approximately $150 million each.  Of the total project cost for each project it is contemplated that $50 million will be equity capital and the remainder debt.  The equity dollars will be provided in tranches over the period of construction for the six proposed green energy-generating facilities, estimated at approximately six years.  It is projected that the equity necessary to complete all six facilities will be in the range of $300 million.   “We are delighted to be joining forces with a firm of the caliber of CFC,” commented Ross Maxwell, General Manager of Mustus Energy, LTD, “and to soon be bringing clean energy and added employment to Alberta.”
